Photography is as versatile as life and like Life, Photography also reveals only to that one who carries the readiness in itself to occupy more deeply with it. It is a way of exit from the ever faster becoming transmission of the time and refuge to the individual moment.  A form of slow down of the ever faster perceptions flowing in on our spirit and our Subconscious.  To take themselves time for the instant, which offers us impressions, tendencies and feelings, which we could never take up without the photography in this form to us.  The Photography gives however not only the possibility to show us the reality objectively, but tries to bring the aspect of the photographer nearer to the Viewer. I am nearly tried to state, that there is no objective representation of the reality in the photography, because there is always a personal attitude to the motive as well as the readiness, to be employed with the motive which is reflected by the pictures.  Completely apart from the different interpretations of the pictures with the expenditure on photo-paper or in addition, in the form of pixel, pictures of the same object but from different photographers always shows different results, if the photographer concerns itself with the object and with the figurative conversion of it.

I live in the surrounding of Graz Austria and I am occupied since 1993 self - educated with the photography.  at the beginning it was rather the small picture - snapshot - photography in color and black/white, paired with an above average technique-amorousness concerning the photographic equipment, then my principal interest has changed very soon  to medium format photography and concerning the picture language to the black/white - photography with very puristic courses.  Not the camera with their technical automatisms was located in the center, but my interpretation of the object and the conversion of the object on paper.  In this time my guiding principle developed "not mass but class" and soon thereafter I also started doing the process development and enlargement by myself. 1998 I have shifted my principal interest, affected by a photo course at the MAXUM photo school in Poellau (Styria / Austria), from the still life and landscape photography to the fine art nude photography, which plays an important role to this day. For me this kind of Photography still represents the largest challenge, because apart from the control of the equipment also the personal handling and the motivation of the Models is added.  It is a combination of direction, organizing and motivating, which interests me in working with models.  Of course there is certainly an affinity for the female body that motivates me to model the bodies with light and set them in scene. I carry on the Photography not full-time, but as an ambitious Hobby. This is why I have decided this year to switch to the digital Photography. By this way It is very important for me not to become addicted to the immeasurable possibilities of the electronic treatment of pictures but only to shift the photography medium from film to pixels and the archiving from Boxes to files. Electronic treatments of pictures at the computer are accomplished only to that extent, as they are possible also in the darkroom.  For me there is no contest between analog photography and digital photography, which is high-stylized in many Photographic - publications. I can convert my conceptions with both techniques because at the end the result counts.
